What it covers

Site banner "All accounts | CFDs & Futures • 35% OFF": HALLOWEEN takes 35% off Instant, 1 Step and 2 Step (Standard and Nano), e.g. $100K Instant $623 → $405, $100K 2 Step Standard $463 → $301. Instant Starter and BNPL are excluded. No end date is printed, and Halloween is 31 October, so it may end tonight. Buying several accounts at once, the 2nd/3rd/4th are 30%/35%/40% off list (4 at most); per the site's calculator the first account takes the code price and the others the bundle rate, so the two do not stack.

What the firm is, who it suits, and what you will trade it on.

XSR summary

Blue Guardian was founded in 2021 by Sean Bainton. It is run from Dubai (Iconic Exchange FZCO), with the trading platforms provided by Blue Guardian Limited in Saint Lucia. Its CFD line (MT5, Match-Trader, TradeLocker) sells Instant accounts, 1-Step and 2-Step challenges in Standard and cheaper Nano versions, and a $10-to-start Buy Now Pay Later challenge. Fees are one-time with no deadline, funded capital is capped at $400,000 per trader, and the fee comes back after your fourth payout. The catch is the Guardian Shield: on most funded accounts a 2% open loss (1% on Instant) closes your trades, and the first trigger cuts your split to 50% for good; the Instant and 1-Step max loss also trails your closed balance. Blue Guardian's futures line is listed separately as Blue Guardian Futures.

Suits

Watch out for

The Guardian Shield: on most CFD funded accounts a 2% open loss (1% on Instant) closes your trades, and the first trigger cuts your split to 50% for good. Every payout also loses a 3% processing fee.

Blue Guardian CFD challenges and prices

Pick a program and a size. Every number is the firm's list price and rule before any code.

The most popular product: a funded account on purchase, no target, payouts on demand once you qualify. The price is a 6% max loss that trails your best closed balance, a 20% consistency rule, a Guardian Shield that fires at a 1% open loss, and no news trading at all on accounts bought after 13 November 2025. Paid once per attempt.

The loss limit trails unrealised equity tick by tick. The hardest rule in the industry — most blown accounts die here.

Illustration: a made-up path held to this account's real limits.

Once you are funded

Each payout needs 5 profitable days (at least 0.5% each), a best day under 20% of the period's profit (15% on $300K and $400K) and a balance above the start. Once the line locks at the starting balance, 1% must stay in the account after a payout. On $200K and larger, the first two payouts are capped at $10,000 each.

Blue Guardian CFD rules, in plain words

Most dangerous first. Each one says what the rule is, how it is measured, and what it looks like on a real account.

3 Strict4 Watch out1 Good to know

  1. Guardian Shield: a 2% open loss closes everything and halves your split

    Strict

On funded accounts, when your combined open loss reaches 2% of the initial balance (1% on Instant, Instant Starter and BNPL), every open trade is closed. The account survives, but the first trigger cuts your profit split to 50% for good and the second ends the account. Evaluations and both Nano accounts are exempt.

    Example

On a funded $100K 2 Step Standard you hold three trades down $2,000 combined: all three are closed, the account stays open, and every later payout is split 50/50. On a $100K Instant it fires at $1,000.

  2. Max loss: trailing on most programs

    Strict

2 Step Standard (8%) and 2 Step Nano (10%) use a fixed line below the initial balance. Instant (6%), Instant Starter (5%), 1 Step Standard and Nano (6%) and BNPL (8%) trail your highest closed balance: a closed win lifts the line at once, floating profit does not. It stops at the starting balance, after which 1% must stay in the account when you withdraw. Equity, open losses and costs included, may never touch it.

    Example

$100K 1 Step Standard: the line starts at $94,000. Close trades up to $105,000 and it moves to $99,000. Pass $106,000 and it locks at $100,000; from then a payout must leave at least $101,000.

  3. Daily loss (hard breach)

    Strict

At 5 p.m. New York time (6 a.m. Hong Kong/Taipei, 5 a.m. during US daylight time) the day's floor is set at the higher of balance or equity minus 3% (Instant, Starter, 2 Step Nano) or 4% (1 Step Standard, 2 Step Standard, 1 Step Nano, BNPL) of the initial balance. Equity, open losses included, touching it fails the account.

    Example

$100K 2 Step Standard: at 5 p.m. your balance is $100,000 with a trade $2,000 up, so equity of $102,000 counts and the next day's floor is $98,000. Had the trade been $2,000 down, the $100,000 balance counts and the floor is $96,000.

  4. Consistency rules (they differ by program)

    Watch out

Several programs cap your best day as a share of total profit; going over never fails you, it blocks passing or the payout until you trade on. Instant 20% (15% on $300K–$400K and on Instant Starter), BNPL funded 20%, 1 Step Nano 50% in both phases, 2 Step Nano funded 50%. 1 Step and 2 Step Standard have none.

    Example

$100K Instant: your best day is $1,000, so the period's total profit must exceed $5,000 before you can request a payout.

  5. News on funded accounts

    Watch out

On funded accounts you may not open or close trades on affected symbols from 5 minutes before to 5 minutes after high-impact (red folder) releases and FOMC events; profit from that window is removed, without a breach. Instant accounts bought after 13 November 2025 may not trade news at all. Evaluations and Instant Starter are free.

    Example

US CPI prints at 8:30 a.m. New York time: on a funded 1 Step Standard you may not open or close EURUSD, XAUUSD, NDX100 or US30 between 8:25 and 8:35.

  6. 2-minute minimum hold and the gambling rule

    Watch out

Trades closed in under 2 minutes can be flagged as tick scalping, and using more than 80% of margin at any time counts as all-or-nothing gambling. High-frequency trading, arbitrage of any kind and strategies that exploit demo conditions are banned. These are usually caught at payout review and cost profit, the payout or the account.

    Example

On a $50K funded account, an XAUUSD trade closed after 90 seconds can have its profit removed at payout review, even though it won.

  7. Shared devices, third parties and identity

    Watch out

Trade only from your own devices; a phone, computer or VPS linked to several traders' accounts is flagged for review at payout. No password sharing, no one else trading for you, and no changing the platform password. Account holder, payer and payee must be the same person; multiple accounts used to farm promotions are all closed and blacklisted.

  8. Inactivity and capital limits

    Good to know

Every account needs a trade at least every 30 days, counted from account creation, or it is breached. Funded capital is capped at $400,000 in total; the Scaling Plan adds 30% of the initial balance for 12% profit in 3 months, up to $4,000,000.

    Example

If you hold a $200K Instant account, your other funded accounts can total at most another $200,000.

Blue Guardian CFD payouts: when, how much and how

When you can withdraw, how much, and how the money reaches you.

  1. 01 · First payout

Challenge accounts (1 Step, 2 Step Standard, 2 Step Nano): 14 days after the first funded trade, or 7 with the add-on; 7 days on 1 Step Nano. Instant, Instant Starter and BNPL: once you have 5 profitable days and meet consistency.

  2. 02 · After that

Challenge accounts every 14 days (7 with the add-on or on 1 Step Nano), counted from the last request; Instant, Starter and BNPL on demand. Requests are processed within 24 business hours, or that payout earns an extra 10% share.

  3. 03 · Profit split

    1 Step / 2 Step Standard 85% (90% add-on), Instant 80% (90% add-on), Instant Starter 90%, 1 Step Nano 85% and 2 Step Nano 80% (both with a 100% add-on), BNPL 80%; 50% for good after a Guardian Shield trigger.

Minimum
$100 by crypto, $500 by Rise.
Caps
Crypto pays at most $1,000 per request; larger amounts go through Rise (no maximum). The first two payouts on Instant $200K+ are capped at $10,000 each, Instant Starter at $250 once, and 2 Step Nano at 2% of the initial balance per cycle.
Payout methods
  • Rise Works
  • Crypto
Before you can request
  • Be flat with no pending orders; the account is read-only while the payout is reviewed.
  • Balance above the starting balance, minimum days and consistency met, and no rule violations.
  • KYC (Sumsub) completed in the dashboard before the first payout; a live KYC call may be requested if documents are unclear.
  • Every payout carries a 3% processing fee, so you receive slightly less than the certificate shows.
  • The evaluation fee is refunded after your fourth payout (not Instant Starter; accounts bought from 21 January 2026).

From Hong Kong or Taiwan

Neither Hong Kong nor Taiwan is on Blue Guardian's CFD restricted list, and both are in the checkout country menu. There are two rails: crypto (at most $1,000 per request, fine for small amounts) and Rise Works (bank withdrawal, no maximum). Anything over $1,000 needs a Rise account; Blue Guardian emails an invitation within 24 hours of the request. A 3% processing fee applies.

Can Hong Kong and Taiwan traders use Blue Guardian CFD?

Read from the firm's own list. A firm that bans Hong Kong or Taiwan is not listed on XSR at all.

Sources and checks

Could not be confirmed on the firm's own pages

These are printed from recent third-party coverage. Confirm them with the firm before you buy.

  • BNPL prices follow the site's list ($69 for 5K to $1,377 for 200K). The help centre instead describes $10 up front plus a $52–$1,033 activation fee on passing; the two do not reconcile, so trust the checkout.
  • That bundle rates do not stack with the code is read from the site's own price calculator; whether the checkout does the same is unconfirmed.
  • The site's pricing table shows 1:100 leverage on 1 Step Standard; the platform rules article says 1:50, which we use.
  • The founding date (June 2021) comes from Blue Guardian's blog and third-party coverage; the About page does not state it.
  • Blue Guardian's pages do not say whether Rise Works bank withdrawals reach Hong Kong and Taiwan.
