What it covers
40% off the monthly Test fee for the life of that Test (every rebill until you pass), and the $130 PRO activation fee waived, issued as a credit after you pass. Unlimited accounts. TPT calls it limited-time but prints no end date. Tests bought with credits are excluded.
The firm's own public code. Anyone can use it and XSR earns nothing from it.

XSR summary
Take Profit Trader (TPT) is a Florida futures firm that sells one product: a monthly-subscription Test in five sizes from $25K to $150K. Pass it and you move to a PRO account — simulated, 80% split, a one-time $130 activation fee that promo codes often waive — and can withdraw daily once the balance clears a buffer equal to the drawdown. Consistent PRO traders may be invited to PRO+, a live-market account with a 90% split and end-of-day drawdown. The catch: the Test drawdown moves only at the close, but on PRO it trails intraday on open profit, and PRO accounts must be flat around FOMC, NFP and CPI.

Take Profit Trader challenges and prices
Pick a program and a size. Every number is the firm's list price and rule before any code.
TPT's only product: a single evaluation stage billed monthly until you pass or cancel it yourself (failing does not stop the billing). Pass and the subscription ends; a one-time $130 activation fee opens the PRO account. Rebills every month until you pass or cancel.

The loss limit trails your closing balance once a day. Overnight profits raise your floor; intraday swings do not.

Once you are funded
Pay the $130 activation fee (waived by codes such as NOFEE40) and you get a PRO account: simulated, same drawdown amount but now trailing intraday, no consistency rule, no scaling plan. Withdraw daily once the balance is above the buffer (start plus drawdown). Trade at least one day a week and be flat one minute either side of FOMC, NFP and CPI. Up to 5 funded accounts at once; at most 10 passed Tests activated per 30 days.
Take Profit Trader rules, in plain words
Most dangerous first. Each one says what the rule is, how it is measured, and what it looks like on a real account.
PRO accounts: the drawdown trails intraday
StrictOn PRO the drawdown amount is the same as your Test, but it trails your intraday peak balance including open profit. The floor moves up the moment a trade is in profit and never comes back down. It stops trailing once it reaches the starting balance. Touch the floor at any time and the account is liquidated.
Example
A $25K PRO has a $1,500 drawdown, so the floor starts at $23,500. A trade shows $1,000 open profit: the floor jumps to $24,500. You close it for $500. Balance $25,500, floor still $24,500 — only $1,000 of room left.
Test: end-of-day trailing drawdown
StrictOn the Test the minimum balance moves up only at the end of each day, following your highest closing balance; open profit during the day does not move it. It stops at the starting balance. But if equity touches it at any moment, realised or unrealised, the account is liquidated.
Example
A $50K Test has a $2,000 drawdown, so the floor starts at $48,000. Close a day at $51,000 and it moves to $49,000. Once a close reaches $52,000 the floor locks at $50,000 for good.
Flat before the daily close
StrictNo account may hold a position from one trading day into the next. The day runs 6 PM to 5 PM Eastern and TPT closes anything open at 4:55 PM. If your product closes earlier (grains, holiday sessions) and you are still in at its close, the account is liquidated.
Example
Still long 2 NQ at 4:50 PM ET? TPT closes it at 4:55. A trade opened at 6:05 PM counts toward the next day. On a holiday early close, CME's time applies — miss it and the account is gone.
PRO / PRO+: flat around major data
StrictPRO and PRO+ accounts must hold no position and no working order from one minute before to one minute after the FOMC statement (Wednesdays 2 PM ET), Non-Farm Payrolls and CPI. Fed speakers and FOMC minutes are allowed. The Test has no news rule.
Example
CPI at 8:30 AM ET: cancel every order and be flat by 8:29, and place nothing until 8:31.
No counter positions or coordinated trading
StrictAcross any accounts you control you may not be long in one and short in another on the same or a closely related contract (ES/MES, NQ/MNQ, YM/MYM), or coordinate trades with other people. Detection is real-time: every account involved is liquidated and its profit forfeited; repeat cases are banned. A copier that opens an opposite position counts as you.
Example
Long 2 ES in one account while short 1 MES in another: both accounts are liquidated and their profit forfeited.
No bots, and the Sustainable Trading review
StrictAutomated trading, bots and algorithmic execution are banned on every account; each order must be placed by hand. Separately, if most of your trades use maximum size, you repeatedly blow through loss limits, or you load up at the open and data releases where simulated fills are kind, TPT may end the relationship without notice.
Test: 50% consistency and 3 trading days
Watch outTo pass, your best day must be under 50% of total net profit, and you need at least 3 trading days (any day with a trade; Tests bought before 17 August 2026 still need 5). Going over 50% is not a fail — the dashboard raises the target above twice your best day. PRO has no consistency rule.
Example
$50K Test, target $3,000. Days of +$2,000, +$600 and +$500 total $3,100, but the best day is 65%. You must take total net profit above $4,000 before $2,000 falls under 50%.
PRO: build the buffer before you withdraw
Watch outYou can withdraw from day one on PRO, but only the part above the buffer, which equals the drawdown ($26,500 on $25K, $52,000 on $50K, $103,000 on $100K). Money inside the buffer comes out only if you close the PRO: 50% of it within 60 trading days, 80% after. A closed PRO cannot be reset.
Example
$50K PRO at $53,000: you can take the $1,000 above the buffer and receive 80%, $800. Close the account instead and the $2,000 inside the buffer pays only 50% if you have traded 60 days or fewer.
Funded accounts: trade once a week
Watch outPRO and PRO+ accounts need at least one completed round trip on one day in every calendar week (Sunday–Friday) to stay active. Contact support beforehand if you need a temporary exception. Tests have no activity rule, but the subscription keeps billing.

- Wise
- Before you can request
- No open position or working order at the moment you request.
- Two steps: account to TPT wallet (seconds on Tradovate PRO, manual for Rithmic and PRO+), then wallet to you after a review of up to 12 business hours.
- Balances update once a day, 8–9 PM ET; same-day profit is withdrawable after that.
- Sign the US tax form before the first withdrawal; the receiving account must be in your registered name.
- On a PRO+ upgrade, $5,000 of PRO profit is frozen while the PRO+ is active.
From Hong Kong or Taiwan
Plaid is for US banks only, so Hong Kong and Taiwan traders choose PayPal or Wise. Wise is open to residents of both and can receive USD for transfer to a local bank; PayPal adds its own fees. Withdraw more than $250 at a time to avoid the $50 fee.
Can Hong Kong and Taiwan traders use Take Profit Trader?
Read from the firm's own list. A firm that bans Hong Kong or Taiwan is not listed on XSR at all.

Not restricted
Hong Kong and Taiwan are not on the list. TPT enforces it by connection: a single trade or market-data session from a listed country gets the accounts blocked, without exception, and registration through a VPN is refused.

- The homepage and checkout sit behind a Cloudflare check: prices come from the firm's subscriptions API and the NOFEE40 terms from its help centre; we did not see the code applied at checkout.
- The subscriptions API still carries daily-loss fields ($500 on $25K up to $3,300 on $150K), but the help centre's Test rules list no daily loss limit, so this page shows none.
- The legal name TakeProfitTrader LLC, the Windermere address and the March 2021 registration come from search snippets of the terms page and third-party copies of the Florida registry; the terms page itself could not be read.
- The $750K maximum is our arithmetic (5 accounts × $150K); TPT states only a limit of five funded accounts.
